USRA Half Marathon Series

RACE REQUIREMENTS:

• You must be in good health and prepared to take on the challenges of a Half-Marathon, 5K or K Fun Run
• You must be at least 12 years of age to participate in the Half-Marathon
• You must show photo ID to pick up your race number at the Expo
• No race day registation nor packet pickup
• You must be able to complete the 13.1 mile/Half-Marathon Course in four hours
• Race number and Timing Chip are required to participate The Council Bluffs Half is “friendly” to headphones, roller skates, in-line skates, baby joggers, strollers, etc. but we urge you to use caution.
• NO Bandits, Refunds, Cancellations or Transfers

COURSES:

Flat, fast and certified. Mile Markers, timing clocks, medical coverage at the start, along the course and finish and enthusiastic support to carry you through along the way!

AGE GROUP AWARDS:

Commemorative Awards to Overall Male & Female and Overall.

Masters Male & Female Winners as well as Top Kid’s Fun Runners. Male & Female finishers. 3-Deep Commemorative Awards in the following Age Groups for both male and female in the Half-Marathon and 5K
19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY

Entry fees are non-refundable and entries are non-transferable. NO EXCEPTIONS! You may not give or sell your number to Anyone nor transfer your 2010 entry fee to future races.

Course Refreshments:

We will have Water and Gatorade on the course at the aid stations! We will also have a post race party after you cross the Finish Line with live entertainment! 5K Awards at 10AM, Half Marathon Awards at 11AM.

Restrooms:

We will have 3 restrooms on the course and 7 at the start/finish area.

Fun Run:

Go to start line at 9:30 AM.

Parking:

There will be parking in the lots at the Mid America Center. Lots A and B.

Timing:

Race will be chip timed by JMS Racing. Individual results will be fully available after conclusion of the race.
